This is the first part of the two-year program that leads to the NSW Higher School Certificate. It is a three term Preliminary program during which students must study a minimum of 12 Units. Generally each subject is 2 Units.
The only compulsory subjects in year 11 are English (ESL) and Fundamentals of English. All other subjects are electives. Students are advised to consult with the Principal, High School Programs Coordinator and Further Studies Officer before making choices, as there may be pre-requisite subjects for later university study.
After completing Year 11 students receive a Year 11 Certificate from the School as well as a Board of Studies Record of Achievement.
